Joe Scarborough lies about Obama go unchecked on MSNBC

Dear Joe Scarborough-

You are entitled to your opinion but you are not entitled to your own facts.

This morning on MSNBC's MORNING JOE, Joe Scarborough claimed that President Barack Obama has never worked in the private sector and none of the folks on set thought to challenge him with the fact that Obama started his law career at the Chicago firm of Miner, Barnhill & Galland or worked for Business International Corp. Maybe they didn't know or maybe they didn't feel that the facts were necessary.

Last month the Chicago Sun-Times did a deep dive into Barack’s days as a lawyer at Miner, Barnhill & Galland. After Harvard Law, Obama returned to the Windy City and joined the small litigation firm with deep Chicago political connections.

Obama rarely talks about his year spent within the arcane sphere of global finance as a junior editor for Business International Corp., a publisher based in New York.

As Joe tried to push his Obama is a socialist meme by suggesting that he never held a job in the private sector, Scarborough co-conspirators Mika Brzezinski, Andrew Ross Sorkin, US Senator John Cronyn (R-TX) and Willie Geist sat silently.

Thanks to Scarborough's BLATANT LIE many Americans who are predisposed to think that Obama is a socialist have new ammunition to support that claim. This how the right wing plays the game. Lie, lie, lie. Facts are irrelevant and unfortunately they go unchecked in the mainstream media.

Brzezinski and Sorkin consider themselves journalists and journalists should speak out against lies. Scarborough was not stating an opinion, he was passing a blatant lie off as fact.

It is inexcusable for a host on a major cable network morning show to spread such a blatant lie about anyone, let alone POTUS. Hopefully MSNBC will make Scarborough issue a correction.

We really need to stick the Socialism attacks back in the face of the antisocialists instead of re-enforcing their Orwellian frame.

A Socialized Society is like a Socialized child, behaving in a manner to make life better for all.

The opposite of Socialized is Feral, like an Unsocialized child, still stuck in the terrible twos, everything is about them, what they want and can get by any means possible, and that is the focus of Libertarian "freedom", and why they fear being socilaized.
