Farewell Cabrini Green

In honor of today's scheduled demolition of the last building at Cabrini Green I think its appropriate to pay tribute with the opening credits and theme song "Good Times."

Once you get past the negative reputation of public housing, its important to remember that the overwhelming majority of its residents are hard working, beautiful folk much like the fictional "Evans" family, who are chasing the American dream like you and I. Many talented innovators, leaders, artists and others who have made a great impact on society are the products of public housing projects like Carbini Green.
