Our first (and maybe last) blind item: is another African American woman running for Senate?

We heard this morning a rumor that another African American woman, very well established in Chicago and with a VERY IMPORTANT AND POWERFUL SUPPORTER, will be announcing her intention to run for President Barack Obama's Senate seat.

If true, Cheryle Jackson's campaign may be doomed before it even starts off.

As we said, this is our first (and maybe last) blind item. Our sources tell us this can happen today if it does we told you so. If not, we are new to this blind item thing ;)
