The syndicated morning radio show hosted by Eric Muller, better known as Mancow, has left the Fresno airwaves. He no longer will be heard on KRZR, FM 103.7. The on-air staff at KRZR gave the syndicated show a fond farewell at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

KRZR listeners had been told for several days to listen to the station Wednesday to hear a big goodbye. Speculation about the farewell ranged from a possible format change to a morning show switch.

The Wednesday morning on-air announcement started with reflections by program director E. Curtis Johnson and the staff about their time at the station. What sounded like a farewell to the entire radio station format ended with the announcement that Mancow was being put out to pasture.

Currently, KRZR is playing music in the 6-10 a.m. time slot. Listeners were told that an announcement of what will replace Mancow will be made Monday morning.
